She was predeceased by: her parents, William Felton and Mearl Felton of Wilson; her daughter Annette; and her siblings, William Felton (Bill), Ray Felton (Jack), Larry Felton, Rose Hawley and Patricia Felton (Faye).
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles D. Edwards; her children, Cheryl Wilson (Crest) of Corinth, MS and Brian Edwards (Fay) of Manteo, NC; her grandchildren, Mollie Davis, Julian Wilson (Juju) and Crista Wilson; and her sister Barbara Toler.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the College Park Baptist Church (1701 Polo Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
