With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Ann Tompson Cheek of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalla Thompson and Edna Cockerham Thompson; her husband Jackie Talmadge "Tam" Cheek; and her brother Richard Thompson. She is survived by: her son Nolan Bradley Cheek of Winston-Salem; her granddaughter Madeleine Cheek of Winston-Salem; her brother Robert Thompson (Geraldine) of State Road; and also, Mike, Lisa Tillman of Winston-Salem and Brenda Harrison of Winston-Salem.
