She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Willis Cochrane and Cornelia Carter Cochrane; her husband Sammy D. Marshall; and her siblings, Herbert, Donald, Paul Cochrane, Kathleen Snyder and Lubeth Gilliam.
She is survived by: her son Shannon Marshall (Amy) of Winston-Salem; her granddaughter Katie Maness of Asheville; and her sister-in-law Hazel Cochrane of Clemmons.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in Joyce's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
