She is survived by: her sons, Benny Wofford (Virginia) of Winston-Salem, NC, Benjamin F. Carpenter, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Anthony Carpenter (Geraldine) of Charlotte, NC, Vincent of Winston-Salem, NC and Curtiss Carpenter of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
