We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2022, at the age of 81, Joseph Edward Gammons of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Moyer Willie and Pansy White Gammons; and his sisters, Margaret Wood, Frances Smith, Cassie Jordan, Lavancha Lambeth and Brenda Gammons.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Robbins Gammons; his daughters, Lisa Dawn Gammons of Charlotte and Cathy Gammons Hazelwood (John) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Amber Hester, John Hazelwood, Jr. and Memory Ann Hazelwood; his great grandchildren, Natalie Ann Chun and Jacob Edward Spencer; and his sisters, Shirley Dawson of Mooresboro and Gwendolyn Ashburn of Westfield. He is also survived by his family and friends.
