He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry "Jack" Aldridge and Mary Ethel English Aldridge; his children, Joseph Lee Aldridge, Jr. and Debra Aldridge; and his siblings, Jackie McAllister, Edith Rampey and Herb Aldridge.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Jacqueline Simmons Aldridge; his daughter Lisa Aldridge Wilhoit (Randy) of Winston-Salem; his grandsons, Tyler Wilhoit (Katlyn) and Tanner Aldridge Wilhoit (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Joseph Lee, Emmalynn and Gracey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
