He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Ball and Mary Lelia Mitchell Ball; his wife Shirley Ann Hudspeth Ball; his half-brother Ernest Mitchell; and his siblings, John Ball, Roy Ball, Betty Nifong, Lucille Luffman, Millie Sapp, Robert Ball and David Ball.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Noah (Bernie), Angela Cook (Jeff) and Randy Ball (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Tara Floyd (Chris), Ashley Sherrill (Coby) and Amanda Mason (Nick). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
