John Uba left this world on February 14, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Uba Turner and Drusilla Cook Turner Dooley; and his sister Betty Ann Olive. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jones Turner; his daughters, Shannon Turner Lineback (Joel) and Angie Turner Cranor; his grandchildren, Nathan Lineback, Kaitlin Lineback, Logan Cranor and Makena Cranor; his daughter Natalia Merino Martinez; his nieces and nephews, CiCi Olive Breese and Dana Olive; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Jones Howard and Wayne Howard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salem Funeral and Cremation Services - Downtown (120 S Main St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
