John Lewis Womble Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis Womble of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dallas and Nora Pearl Wooten Womble; and his wives, Barbara "Bobbie" Cranfill Womble and Alpha Wall Womble. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Womble (Julie) of Clemmons, Beth Bailey (Chris) of Greer, SC and David Womble (Maria) of Lewisville; his grandchildren, Matt (Shanda), Mandy (Casey), Jillian (Fredrik), Ian, Dorian, Jake and Cheyenne; his great grandchildren, Owen and Alex; his granddaughter Millicent Pollinger (Seth); his great grandchildren, Annie Lou, Wil and Emma Lea; and also Kim Acree (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
