He was predeceased by: his parents, Culvery Shing and Ila Gant Dyson; and his son Bobby Fulk, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smith Dyson; his sons, John Dyson, Jr. (Diane) of Yadkinville and David Allen Dyson of High Point; his daughter-in-law Susan Fulk of Germanton; and his grandchildren, James Robert, Jerry, Steven Dyson, Andrew, Caroline and Daniel Fulk. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
