It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jacob Petersen (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Petersen and Amelia Petersen (Miller); and his siblings, Walter Petersen, Catherine Reed and Martha Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Petersen (Joanie) of Pfafftown, NC and Jennifer Petersen of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, John Cole Petersen, Jacob Crowell Petersen, Charlie Wade Petersen, Baden Thomas Faulkner and Arden Kari Faulkner; and his sister Mary J. Reed of West Lafayette, IN.
