He is survived by: his wife Alice Waddell; his children, Airmuss Nivens (Kentia), Jonathan McCluney, Christina Hayes (Branden), Archie Johnson (Mercy), Mercy McDowell (Ashanti), Buster Johnson, Othello Johnson (Ivy), Joseph Johnson, Peter Johnson and Gabriel Johnson; his grandchildren, Eddison, Emmerson, JeQuaris Nivens, Amya Bailey, Comfort Beene, Chris, Braxten Hayes, Benjamin Johnson, Iesha, Ashantel, Ashanti, Amhad McDowell, Nyomi McAllister, Norah, Ruby Johnson, Alisha Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Comfort Favor Chea; and his sisters, Roberta Whisonant, Ernestine Miller (Richard) and Pauline Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
