He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Fennel and Stacy Reid Fennel; his wife Thelma Pendry Fennel; his son Barry Lee Fennel; and his siblings, William Fennel, Margaret Watts and Annie Benge.
He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Reid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
