He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergie Lovella Wooten Rasey and Byron Rasey; his siblings, Byron Wooten Rasey, Bainbridge Ora Rasey, Cecil Weldon Rasey and Sharon Kathleen Rasey Hopkins; and his granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Fain Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Rasey; his children, Monya Fain (Thurman) and Nathan Rasey (Lisa); his grandchildren, Justin Fain (Elizabeth) and Madison Rasey; and his great grandchildren, Eldon, Rosemary, Harrison Fain and Elsie Stewart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
