He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davis and Vennie Davis; and his pets, Baloo, Ralphie and Roxy.
He is survived by: his wife Evangeline; his daughters, Kelli Harris (Chad) of Cary, NC and Kara Davis of Huntersville, NC; his grandsons, Trey Harris, Connor Harris and Davis Harris of Cary, NC; his sister Betsy Chapman (Hunt) of Haymarket, VA; and his cousin Bobby West of Mocksville, NC..
