He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton E. Hanson and Ann D. Hanson of Fairview Park, OH.. He is survived by: his children, Ben, Katy, Annie, Blake and JT; his wife Michelle Hanson; his children, Benjamin, Kathryn, Anna and John Thomas; his brother Chip Hanson (Lisa) of Marietta, GA; his parents-in-law, Lee and Jean Hickman of Newark, OH; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Hickman of Cary, NC and Chad Hickman (Jen) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in John's memory be made to the American Heart Association or the National Park Foundation.
