We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2023, at the age of 90, John Benbow Phillips Jr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Cornelius Phillips and John Benbow Phillips, Sr.; his children, Diana Kay Phillips, Michael Schaefer Phillips (Fay) and Carolyn Phillips Breese; his grandchildren, Brittney Singleton (Jeff), William Phillips, Megan Foshee (Bragg), Matt Breese, Mary Thompson Phillips and Anna Phillips; and his great grandchild Caroline Foshee.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his caregiver Peggy Autery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC, 3330 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
