He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Elbert Shaver and Frances Shaver Musten; his wife Diane "Penny" Shaver; his brother Don C. Shaver; and his stepfather John C. Musten.
He is survived by: his daughter Kacie Shaver (Michael Tyler); his siblings, Sue Shaver Fox (Sam) and Kim Shaver; his sister-in-law Jane B. Shaver; his nieces and nephews, Sean Brewer (Elaine), Scott Brewer, Ashley Atkins (David) and Julie Smith (Phillip); and his cousins, Tom Shaver, Clay Shaver, Tim Weavil (Tammy), Myra Bodenheimer, Betsy Lewter (Roy), Judy Sink and Gay Sharon.
