With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Waddell (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Hershell and Nora Absher Waddell; his brother Travis Eugene; his sister-in-law Hilda H. Waddell; and his sister Mazie Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Waddell; his children, David Waddell (Suzelle) of Raleigh and Dee Anne Adams (Terry) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Brent Adams of Franklin, Ohio, David Waddell (Phuong) of Cary, Audrey Shore (Bradley) of Raleigh and Darren Adams of Lexington; his great grandchildren, Mason, Austin Waddell of Cary, Dawson, Bennett, Campbell and Ruby Shore of Raleigh; and his brother Gray Waddell (Bobbie).
