He is survived by: his close friend Mickie Doss of Winston-Salem; his son Drew Southern (Amy) of Stuart, VA.; his siblings, Larry Southern of King, NC, Mike Southern (Kay) of Yadkinville, NC and Brenda Vogler (Joe) of King, NC; his grandchild Ridge Southern of Stuart, VA; and his brother-in-law Reggie Tuttle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
