It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Embler Shuping (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlie Embler and Hattie Embler; her husband Robert "Bob" Shuping; her daughter-in-law Traci Shuping; and her siblings, Millard Lee Embler (Bud), Marie E. Ring, Harlie Lee Embler, Jr., Ruby J Myers and Lester J. "LJ" Embler.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Tedder (Tony) and Robert Fletcher Shuping Jr.; and her grandchildren, Michael Tedder, Mary Pop (Alex), Fletcher Shuping and Maxwell Shuping.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church (3543 Robinhood Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Tabor UMC.
