She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Mae and Espie Joyce; her husband Dr. Roy Philipp; and her brother Butch Joyce. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Anderson (Debbie), Kenneth Scott Anderson and Jeffrey Anderson (Allison); her granddaughter Peyton Justice (Jacob); and her sister Frances Garrou.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (520 Summit St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
