With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Holt Sykes (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alexander Holt, Jr. and Mary Ella Holt; and her sister Joan Rhodes (Robert Sykes). She is survived by: her children, Roger "Chip" Bednarick, Jr. (Susan) of Mooresville, NC, Jennifer Davis (Warren) of Clemmons, NC and Jeffrey Sykes of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Alexis, Haley, Emma and Bethany; and her sister Sue Paris (Fulton) of Burlington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and special close friends.
