He was predeceased by: his mother Shelby Henderson Hager; and his grandparents, Marvin Henderson, Fannie Henderson, James E Hager and Henrietta Hager.

He is survived by: his father James Ray Hager; his sisters, Amy Hager Dalton (Benny) and Kelli Hager Staley (Bill); his nieces, Kaylee Cash Alexander (Casey), Alexis Dalton and Zoe Dalton; his great-niece Huntlee Alexander; and his great-nephew Huxton Alexander.
