He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gill and Martha Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Kay Lewis; his brother Dennis Lewis (Marilynne); his children, Calvin Lewis (Sylvia), Carlos Lewis, Sr. (Michelle) and Sharon Scriven (Michael); his grandchildren, Goryal Scales (Nakia), Carlos Lewis, Jr. (Alyah), Antwain Scriven, Jeremiah Lewis, Courtney Collins (Aaron) and Delacey Murden; and his great grandchildren, Audyn Scales, Artist Scriven, Aaron Collins, Jr., Ahryan Collins, Princeton Murden and Raven Murden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Chapel Baptist Church (300 25th St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
