He was predeceased by: his parents, George Albert Lippard, Sr. and Corrinne Leonard Lippard; his wife Lucy Elizabeth Cole; his brother Dr. George A. Lippard, Jr. (Myra); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Gilden.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Lippard Gaither (Wayne), James Edward Lippard, Jr. (Jimmy), Allison Lippard Morris (Lou) and Charles Cole Lippard; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Gaither, II, Keenan Lippard (Erica), Kirk Lippard, Anderson Lippard, Jacob Lippard, Ross Lippard (Paige), Trey Morris and Sarah Morris; his great grandchildren, Camden VanEaton, Eli Lippard, Kole Lippard, Madi Lippard and Alden Lippard; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Anne Debose (Carl) and Bill Gilden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (5220 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Winston-Salem Foundation (751 West Fourth Street, Suite 200, Winston-Salem, NC, 27101) designated to the Lippard Traumatic/Acquired Brain Injury Fund.
