He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ward Hendricks and Ernestine Velma Cranfill Hendricks; and his sister Carol Paterson of Blythewood, SC.. He is survived by: his wife Fran Hendricks; his daughters, Michele Hicks of Columbia, SC and Christy Carter (Ryker Carter) of St. Simons Island, GA; his granddaughters, Kinsley Carter, Jenna Carter, Dianna Carter and Alley Carter; and his sister Dorothy Ballard (late John) of Columbia, SC..
