It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Isaac Comer of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wilburn and Lizzie Estella Williard Comer; and his brother Dale Willard Comer. He is survived by: his wife Imogene Reed Comer; his daughter Karen Lynne Comer; his niece Michele Cheek (Marc); his niece Lorie Patochek (Sam); and also Mallory Cheek.
