He is survived by: his daughter Monica McFarlin (Lance Maggart); his mother Joan Henderson; his stepfather James Henderson; his sisters, Jennifer McFarlin, Janet McFarlin and Jackie McFarlin Meadows (Jimmy); his stepbrother James Henderson, Jr.; his aunts, Priscilla and Runetta; his uncle Preston McFarlin; his nieces, Aisha McFarlin, Justina Meadows and Hillary McPhatter; his great-niece Leonie Josanna Meadows (L. J.); and his nephews, John G. Van Ness, III (Jack), James Asa Meadows (Anessa), Ahmad Gaines and James Henderson, III. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
