He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Bryan Gentry and Loraine Darnell Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hickman Gentry. He is also survived by his two children, his five grandchildren, and his three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ardmore Baptist Church (501 Miller St, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
