She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hanna and Alma Hanna; her son Timothy Cooper; her husband James "Buster" Cooper; and her siblings, James Hanna, Curlean Mitchell, Solomon Hanna, Moses Hanna, Leona Lewis and Myrtle Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Cooper (Jill) and Trella Cooper, MD (John Fitz-Henley); her grandchildren, Christopher Cooper, Bryant Cooper, John Fitz-Henley II, Raina Cooper and James Fitz-Henley; her sisters, Alice Shortt, Lillie "Oletha" Hanna and Virginia "Roberta" Ellis (Ozzie); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Hanna (Solomon), Jannie McCullough (Elijah), Melvin Cooper, Harmon Cooper, Jr. (Jannie), David Cooper (Ernestine) and Sam Cooper (Ruth). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
