He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bodenheimer and Ollie Bodenheimer; his wife Rebecca Sink Bodenheimer; his brothers, Grady Albert Reid Bodenheimer and Colon Lee Bodenheimer; and his granddaughter Laura Bodenheimer.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Ray Bodenheimer (Joan) of Denver, NC and Susan Elizabeth Bodenheimer Roat (Stanley) of Charleston, SC; his sister Treva Elizabeth Weavil (Don) of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Melanie Bodenheimer Butler (Hunter) and Reid Schuster; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Davis Butler and Amelia Gray Butler.
