He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carter of Kernersville; his brother Alfred Flowers (Lakesha) of Winston Salem; his half-sister Carolyn Nickens of Mesa, Arizona.; and his children, William Carter (Linda) of Winston Salem, NC, Karen Ingram-Carter of Pfafftown, Denise Harris (Robert) of Pfafftown, Billie McCloud of Kernersville and Pamela Carter of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
