With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Andrew Brown (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Andrew Brown and Annette Gay Brown; his son George; his sister Jane Brown Wallace of Greenville, SC; and his daughter-in-law Kathryn Leinbach Brown.
He is survived by: his son Andy; his grandchildren, Bruce and Adele; his son Edward; and his children-in-law, Andy (Margery), Bruce (Suzy), Adele (David) and Edward (Victoria).
In lieu of flowers the family hopes that donations will be made to either of two of Hal's favorite organizations: St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Read, Write, Spell or to a donation of your choosing in his name.
