She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Foil Sink Hyatt and Minnie Lee Chaney Hyatt; her husbands, Paul L. Beaton and George Melvin Spillers; her siblings, William Kenneth Hyatt and Dorothy Ray Hyatt Silvers; her grandson Heath Brandon Smith; and her daughter Evelyn Marie Beaton.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Beaton Smith of Pinnacle, NC and Kenneth Paul Beaton of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Joseph Paul Beaton, Connie Beaton Lewis (Ben), Millard Smith, III, Frank Aaron Smith (Stella) and Patricia Michelle Smith Anthony; and her niece Rebecca Lee Mullen (Lou) of Buckley, Washington.. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ardmore Baptist Church, 501 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or an animal rescue society of their choice.
