He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thompson and Nellie Thompson; and his siblings, Charles Thompson, Thomas Thompson, Jr. and Myrtle Cherry (Joseph Cherry).
He is survived by: his siblings, Elmer Thompson, Lillian Little and Mattie Mae Little; his son Christopher Harper; and his niece Eva Cherry.
