He is survived by: his children, Carla Peterson Attucks (Reginald), Gregory Peck Peterson, Jr. and Andrea Leigh Peterson; his grandchildren, Gregory Peck Peterson, III and Ellodie Denise Attucks; his fiancé Gail Couthen; his partner's son Matthew Couthen (Jennifer); his siblings, Penni Greene, Toni Greene of Willingboro, Victor Greene (Adjawa), Vinnie Greene of Burlington, Sandra Peterson of Winston-Salem, Christine Davis of Winston-Salem and Darla Steele Lyons of Virginia; his uncle Bob of Yadkinville, NC; his aunts, Joann and Priscilla of Winston-Salem; and his pet Sam. He is also survived by brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, longtime friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
