It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Nelson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jack Jackson and Helen Craig Nelson; her siblings, Betty Jean Bailey, Hazel Broomfield, Benjamin Woody, Robert Woody and Charles Nelson; and her niece Sylvia "Cherry" Mixon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Regina and Shemeika Nelson; her granddaughters, Alexus McGill and Shyann Nelson; her great grandchildren, Addison Early and Christynn Early; her brothers, William Nelson, Terry Nelson (Cynthia), Jerry Jackson and Darnell Nelson (Yvonne); her cousin Marva Hardaman; and her godson Antonio Darnell Willoughy-Holt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
