He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Linwood Hurst, Sr. and LaVenia Craddock Hurst; his wife Helen Marie Darnell Hurst; and his siblings, Albert Linwood, Hurst, Jr., Raebourne "Bill" Brown Hurst, Kenneth Hurst, Helen Hale Hurst Trivette and Louise Hurst Longworth. He is also survived by his wife and children.
