She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Eugene Hester and Emma Jane Hester; her husband Bill Harvell Sapp; and her son Jimmie Sapp. She is survived by: her son Todd Sapp (Veronica) of Winston-Salem; her granddaughter Nichole Crawford (George) of Winston-Salem; her stepgrandchildren, David Koon, Jamie Koon and Tanya Koon; her great grandchildren, Elijah Sapp, Elexus Sapp-Donaldson (Emily) and Chansellor Crawford; her great great grandchildren, Kyrie, Kayori, Luna, Cailee, Avani, Casen and Chance; and her caregivers, Angela and Lisa.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (3250 High Point Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
