She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Schrumpf and Neva Schrumpf; her brother Norman Dean Schrumpf; her husband Arlie Franklin Gilbert; her daughter Cheryl Gilbert Askew (Andy) of Pfafftown, NC; her granddaughters, Amanda Askew of Charlotte, NC and Sarah Askew Bumgarner (Joe) of Raleigh, NC; and her sister-in-law Ruth Schrumpf of West Lafayette, IN. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
