He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dianne Horton; his children, Jamaal and Escada; his grandson Atticus; his siblings, Paulette Dixon of Laurel, Melia Lipford Wiley of Kansas City, Cara Lipford of Longmont, Leshawn Lipford Harper of Lenoir, Douglas Lipford of Longmont, Darrell Lipford of Lenoir and Gerald Lipford of Longmont, Colorado; his parents-in-law, Art and Carolyn Jenkins of Augusta, Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Cathy and Tony Clarke of Martinez, Georgia; his nephew Antonio; and his niece Alana Clarke of Martinez, Georgia. He is also survived by cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church (1016 Trade St NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
