With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Genoa Taylor of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Harmony, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Genoa left this world on October 5, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Russell; her parents, W. G. Hayes and Eula Myers Hayes; her husband William Kenneth Taylor (Bill); her siblings, Norma Snow, Olean Ellis, Ulean Snow, Horace Hayes and A. G. Hayes; and her aunt Jewel Myers.
She is survived by: her sister Camilla Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
