He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Nichols and Doris Saf Nichols. He is survived by: his siblings, Keith H. Nichols (Deborah G. Nichols), Lee R. Nichols (Terri H. Nichols), Larry J. Nichols (Sue Brandt Nichols) and Karen Nichols Torkelson (Jim Torkelson); his cousin Zachary Safstrom; and his nephews, Christopher J Nichols and Nathan P Nichols. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
