He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Overstreet and James Overstreet; his son Matthew Barton Overstreet; and his grandson Christian Gordon Overstreet. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Coleman Overstreet; his son John Gordon Overstreet; his grandchildren, Zack Overstreet and Melissa Overstreet Baker (Jeremy Baker); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Lillian and Evelyn Baker.
