She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roser and Grace Woodard Roser; her husband Gayle D. Smither; and her son Michael Warren Smither. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Smither Smith (Robert) of Clemmons, N. C. and Gayle Smither, Jr. (Eve) of Mt. Pleasant, S. C.. She is also survived by five grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
