He is survived by: his children, Phillip (DeJon), Chad Scales (Alvinia) and Shannor Brown (Donald) of Winston-Salem; his sister Rev. Beatrice Morrison (Melvin) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Tocarr, Emmanuel, Da'Sean, Chaelin, Sha'Dona, Deshad, Chaniya and Micah; and his godchildren, Dianne Shaw of Winston-Salem, Bernard, Jr. of Winston-Salem and Raynard Archie of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
