Faye Vannoy Sharpe Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 95, Faye Vannoy Sharpe (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Vannoy and Ella Faw Vannoy of Ashe County; her husband Charles Burl Sharpe; and her siblings, Jim Vannoy, Fred Vannoy, Charlie Vannoy, Clyde Vannoy, Lucy Lyalls, Pansy Collier, Opal Martin, Anne Turner and Jean Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Sharpe (Sherrill) of Pfafftown, NC, Sandra Cheek (Tommy) of Pinnacle, NC, Linda Combs (Benny) of Rural Hall, NC and Pam Arthur (Ned) of Sparta, NC; her grandchildren, Whitney Sharpe, Katherine Kiser (Jordan), Sarah Welch (Eric), Emily Ulucay (Alisan) and Ben Combs (Christina); her great grandchildren, Ella Kiser, Adelyn Kiser, Bennett Combs and Nora Welch; and her sister-in-law Shirley Sharpe of King, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville (851 Ziglar Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
