She was predeceased by: her parents, Hasley Horton and Helen Horton; her siblings, Shirley Cole and Barnard Horton; her former husband Roy Hawks, Jr.; her husband Don Parnell; her son Bradley Hawks; her son-in-law Lonnie Livengood; and her granddaughter Amie Lamb.
She is survived by: her brother Edward Horton (Nita) of Hillsville; her sister-in-law Dorothy Utz (Robert) of Fancy Gap; her daughters, Debbie Vernon (Pete) of Winston-Salem and Vickie Livengood of Pfafftown; her grandchildren, Angie Halus (Eric), Chris Vernon (Maria) and Chad Henley (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophie Halus, Marissa, Garrett Vernon, Oliver Lamb, Carter, Jacob Henley, Rylee Sulier, Ava and Chandler Henley; and her friend Tom Jones.
