She was predeceased by: her parents, John Samuel and Evelyn Collins George; and her husband Delbert Roberts Wood. She is survived by: her son Stan Wood (Suzanne); her granddaughters, Kirsten Royster (Brian) and Kianna Sebastian (Kyle); and her siblings, Nellie Overby (Lester), Glenda Biggs (Delana), Rita Clarke (Jeff), Tommy George (Mavis), Melvin George (Nancy), Jerry George (Wanda), Ira George (Georgia) and Robert George (Shirley).
Due to Covid, a graveside service with immediate family will be held Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
